1. Timings

2. Wear Something Orange
Super League is expecting Sea of Orange so be it Rocketswear, a t-shirt, wig, tutu, anything,

3. Something for the sun
Sun cream, sunglasses, a hat (especially if you are in the East Stand/Leazes Stands) and some water. It’s forecast to be nice this weekend.

4. Tickets
Obviously you’ll need your ticket to get in, but don’t forget to hold on to it if you have a weekend one, and to get a handstamp so you can get in and out the stadium bowl. Don’t forget ID if you have a concession.

Over 400 Rockets have bought tickets this year. For those sitting in the East Stand, many Rockets gather around the 30m line at the Gallowgate end (the one with a low roof) making it easier to move away from your unreserved seating as there are plenty to hold your seat.

5. Money
With food and drink available in the stadium, if you wiah to venture outside and have a Magic Weekend ticket you can enjoy big savings at numerous nearby bars and restaurants including Pizza Hut and the Alchemist. But if you want to picnic…

6. Food & drink
Many people do bring some snack into the stadium. We would advise you to be sensible in how much you try and bring in.

The spectator info says:
Luggage items: larger than A4 size are not allowed into the stadium for security reasons. Appropriate discretion will be used for ladies’ handbags, baby changing bags, etc. and will be subject to the standard security checks. Please note that no large amount of food can be taken inside the stadium from outside. The amount of food allowed will be at the discretion of Newcastle United staff. Bottles and cans are also not permitted.

7. Travel plans
Full travel info can be found on the spectator info. Generally, getting there without driving is sensible as the city gets very busy.

8. Have a great time
Magic Weekend is a fantastic family occasion. Don’t just stay in your seats all weekend, try and get around the stadium and the fan zone to soak in the atmosphere. The Rockets are a famed part of the Newcastle Magic Weekend so make the most of been a part of it!
