It is the first time the Rockets have travelled internationally and will undertake a number of activities either side of their match on Wednesday against local side and French Cup winners, Ille-sur-Têt.

Flying on Saturday, having seen them at Magic Weekend, the Rockets will once again watch Catalan Dragons live as they take on Hull FC on Monday night.

The travelling party also have planned trips to GO Ape, canoeing, Barcelona and, for the adults, a winery tour.

Friday will see the Rockets compete in a beach touch competition before flying back to Newcastle on the Saturday.
