At least 5,000 more votes needed.

Cramlington Rockets need your help.

The Rockets have been entered into the Aviva Community Fund in a bid to win £25,000 to support their work to develop rugby league in and around Northumberland.

With the Rockets at 5,000 votes, there are just two weeks left to get to the target of 10,000 votes.

Therefore they are hoping the people or the North East and the rugby league family will support them by voting for them to help reach their target of 10,000 public votes. Once you have voted, don't forget to share on social media.

The Rockets are recognised for their excellent work in the community and were recently crowned RFL Community Club of the Year.

It only takes two minutes to register on the Aviva Community Fund site and vote. You get 10 votes to allocate so please make sure you give them all to the Rockets if you can!

To do this, simply:
1. visit www.avivacommunityfund.co.uk and search for Get Northumberland Rocketing in the projects. Or, alternatively copy/paste:https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/17-3754
2. click register to vote
3. Fill in your details and check your email account for a verification email
4. Return to the project page: https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/17-3754
5. Select all ten votes for the Rockets
6. Share on social media and invite your friends, family and teammates to do the same

Some may find they are already registered with Aviva from when the Rockets appealed for funding to launch Rockets Community, their now award-winning community team that reaches 30,000 people a year.

The project this time is called ‘Get Northumberland Rocketing’ and aims to developing the club’s existing work while also expanding its reach, both in terms of geography and who can take part.

Central to this is the formation of Alnwick Bears RLFC, the first ever rugby league club in North Northumberland, which is now England’s northern-most club, taking the sport to places never seen before.
