Dance on the Pitch at Magic Weekend

We have an exciting opportunity for dancers aged 8 plus to take part in a mass movement opportunity at Magic Weekend! Dancers will perform on pitch with young people from across the country!

With 400 children taking part at last year’s Magic Weekend, it is a memorable way to mark one of the biggest rugby league events in the world, at the home of Newcastle United.

Join the Momentum is a national dance programme giving young people unique experiences at some of rugby league’s biggest events.

To have the opportunity to dance in front of up to 40,000 fans on Sunday 21st May, you must attend a 4 hour workshop with a choreographer at Cramlington Sporting Club on Saturday 6th May at 10am.

The cost of this workshop is £10 - and included in this cost is a unique Join the Momentum performer’s top that you will wear for the performance and keep afterwards.

This really is an exceptional day out! As well as performing they will get to experience Rugby League – a fantastic sport with a great match day atmosphere. You will also have access to the Fan Zone which will feature performances, games, giveaways and you’ll come together and meet dance groups from across England.

Please note you will need to have purchased a ticket covering Sunday’s action as well. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cash or cheque. Full details can be found on the form.

We recommend sitting with the Rockets in the Blue East Stand. Prices for one day tickets here are £15 for children, £26 for adults. Weekend tickets are £20 and £36. These are pitchside. Seats in other sections are available too with full details on the order form.
