The dates for the trial for the North East University team has been confirmed to be Saturday 4th November. With exact timings and location to be determined, register our interest by contacting Head Coach, Adam Houston on adam.houston@newcastle-thunder.co.uk.

Houston leads the coaching team also made up of Rockets 1st Team Coach, Dave Townend, who takes the assistant coach role, and ex-Rockets junior, Nathan Gaughan, who is the team manager.

Once up and running, the North East team will take part in the programme that also includes sides from the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands, South West and South East regions.

With a number of Rockets having pulled on the North East jersey in the past, it is a good opportunity to gain some representative honours for your region.
