Jordan Robinson to lead Scotland U16s Development.

One of Cramlington Rockets' coaches has been appointed as a coach in the Scotland set up.

Jordan Robinson is set to head up a new coaching team for the Scotland U16s Development squad, identifying and developing the latest talent to play in the blue of Scotland.

Robinson has made a name for himself in recent years leading the Rockets U16s Black squad. Following an unbeaten North East treble winning season in 2017, this year he entered the team into the Yorkshire competitions.

A third place finish and Yorkshire Challenge Cup final appearance led to three Scotland U16s and one England Youth call ups, showing the talent emerging from the North East.

Heavily involved in the Newcastle Thunder Academy too, the North East outfit has turned heads with its improving results this season, with a number of wins against Super League Academy sides, including Leeds Rhinos.

Having being shortlisted for RFL Children's Coach of the Year in 2017, the appointment to the Scotland coaching team is a fitting next step.
