Expert analysis every month

Cramlington Rockets have joined up with Forty20 Magazine, one of the UK’s leading rugby league publications.

Published on the 13th day of every month – Forty20 magazine is the alternative voice of rugby league. Intelligent, thought-provoking, informative and fun, Forty20 aims to cover rugby league at every level.

Forty20 features thought-provoking articles by the game’s most respected writers and best-known personalities – including former Bradford, Wigan, Crusaders and Great Britain coach Brian Noble; Leeds Rhinos forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan; Sky Sports presenter Rod Studd; stand-up comedian Ian Boldsworth; rugby league doyen Dave Hadfield; and colourful St Helens prop Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook among others.

Cramlington Rockets Chairman, Jeff Ball is also a regular columnist, writing about the latest advances of the club and, most recently in the February 2017 edition, the outlook for North East Rugby League.

Previous editions have also had features about the Rockets at Magic Weekend, the rapid growth of our community department and our success at the national awards in recent years. Bright and witty, punchy and intelligent, Forty20 is unafraid to grapple with the big issues. It brings you front-line reports, taking rugby league seriously but not too seriously.

Jeff Ball, Chairman of Cramlington Rockets said: “We enjoy working with Forty20, who are great supporters of both the sport and our activities in the region. By being a monthly magazine, it means they can go into greater depths about the issues that affect all levels of the game and we strongly recommend everyone looks out for a copy.”

The February edition is in shops now, in newsagents and Asda in Cramlington. It can also be ordered or read online at https://shop.exacteditions.com/gb/forty-20 on a quarterly (£6.99) or annual subscription (£24.99).
