Rockets on Tour.

U14s Black are on the road again this Saturday, travelling to Yorkshire to take on Keighley Albion.

The team has hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks, beating local sides Durham Tigers and Catterick Crusaders by large margins as well as beating Hull Division 2 side, Beverley Braves 30-4 in Beverley.

With a 4pm kick off for the Rockets, it is a curtain raiser for Newcastle Thunder's match against Keighley Cougars at 6pm at Cougar Park.

As well as being a family fun day with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoiy, there will be a familiar face in the crowd for the Rockets in the form of Lewis Davey, an ex-junior Rocket who recently signed for Keighley Cougars.

Rockets Coach, Jordan Robinson was excited to take on Keighley: "They are a good side and it will be interesting to see how we rise to the challenge."

"The last few matches have seen us start to gel both defensively and in attack and matches like this will only continue to help our development."

"It will also be a nice day out for the whole Rockets Family."

"A 4pm kick off means we do not have to set off too early, which always helps, and with Thunder also playing it will be a chance for everyone to spend some time together away from the pitch."

Hopefully we will return home with a North East clean sheet>"
