The work going into this event has far surpassed what anyone could rightfully expected from an amateur club but that’s what makes us the best club in the country and the resulting impact has been massive.

To see the sea of orange every time the Sky Sports camera panned across the crowd has left an indelible orange mark on this year’s event once again.

To see the mascots come out the tunnel with Widnes (who else) with a mixture of nerves but mainly excitement was fantastic to see and will hopefully have created some memories for life.

Sunday’s efforts too for the flagbearers, both planned and last-minute have hopefully had a similar effect.

To hear of people from the likes of Leeds and Wigan coming up to our members and saying ‘you’re these Rockets we keep hearing about’ just shows how much of an impression you have all helped make.

Therefore thank you for all your efforts, be it ticket distribution, t shirt selling, charity fundraising, mascot herding, flag bearing, dancing, singing, going viral or just being there as a smiley orange face to make this another amazing mark in the Rockets history books.
