Young rugby league fans can enjoy all the excitement of League 1 for free in 2018, as Newcastle Thunder confirm details of the season ticket membership packages for the upcoming season.

Launching the tickets that will grant entry to a guaranteed 13 games, the club has confirmed that all adult and concessionary season tickets will be eligible to claim up to two free tickets for Under 11s to join them at Kingston Park Stadium.

That age limit rises to Under 15s for young players at grassroots clubs with a valid RFL registration number, allowing even more young fans to watch the region’s only professional rugby league team at no charge.

Thunder season ticket memberships provide fans with the most cost-effective way of enjoying every minute of the 2018 season, offering savings of up to 37% when compared to match by match ticket purchases with both seating and standing options available.

Supporters will once again be able to take in matches from the East side of Kingston Park Stadium, with seating tickets priced at £130 for adults and standing at £110.

Concessionary prices apply in both areas for supporters aged 65 and over or those studying in full-time education, costing £110 for seats or £90 for standing, while any junior tickets needed above those available for free will cost just £20 in all areas.

For those who book by Friday 22 December, the number of games covered will rise to 14, with a free ticket to Thunder’s pre-season friendly also included. Details of the match, which will be one not to be missed, are due to be announced shortly.

Striving to add even more value to season ticket memberships, Thunder have also introduced a range of additional benefits to enhance the package offered.

The first of these is the introduction of a ticket exchange programme which allows supporters to swap tickets for any games they can’t make for an additional complimentary ticket for a guest at another League 1 fixture.

Another new addition is the “Set of 6” ticket which allows supporters to purchase an additional six tickets for a match of their choice for just £5 per ticket.

Free match day parking (normally £5 per vehicle) will also be offered to season ticket holders along with exclusive discounts on Thunder merchandise throughout the season.
