Newcastle Thunder's open access develoment programme's aim is to provide all Under 13 and 14's in the region with coaching to supplement what they get at their community clubs.

The Development programme is based around the core principles of Embed the Pathway and aims to assist the development of the players:

Coachability – how do player behaviours and attitudes contribute to development.
Mental Attributes – introducing sports psychology to the young player.
Game - Technical aspects specific to Rugby League
Movement – the ability of the young player to perform key movements with control and accuracy, vital for their physical literacy.

The Under 14's programme will be ran from Kingston Park, Brunton Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE13 8AF. The dates are as follows:

Febuary 13th - 11:00-13:00
March 12st - 11:00-13:00
April 9th - 11:00 - 13:00
May 14th - 11:00 - 13:00
June 11th - 11:00 - 13:00
July 23rd - 11:00 - 13:00

Following these events our u16 and u19's academy sides will be playing and everyone is welcome to stay and watch
