The Cramlington Rockets’ 1st team preseason gets underway this Wednesday (27th February) with the first of six indoor sessions at Cramlington Sporting Club.

Open to new and existing players aged 16+, the team will be led once again by Head Coach, Danny Gilroy, who is keen to make a good start.

“We’ve made good progress in recent years with two top 4 finishes. It’s now up to all of us to put in the work to get to the next level.

The talent within the club is impressive and there is a strong pipeline of younger guys coming into the mix every year to add to more experienced heads who have been at the club for years.

Every season we are learning, and we’ve got some good plans to make this season the best one yet.”

The Wednesday evening indoor sessions will be 6-7pm for the next six weeks before training moves outside onto the grass in April. All players are asked to bring £2 to cover costs for hiring the indoor facility.
