The two-year deal will see the global welly company support Rocket Tots and the Rockets Community programmes as well as attend events throughout the year.

Squelch wellies are a family run business with a distinctive product. Transparent wellies with funky welly boots socks mean wearers can enjoy hundreds of style combinations when squelching through the great outdoors.

Since launch in early 2019, the Alnwick-based team has produced a product that is now in shops all around the world. As they expand, their intention is to give back to the community through partnerships like this.

Founder Amanda Wooldridge said: "When we first started Squelch, we decided we needed to work with people who understand the community, and after one visit to Rocket Tots we knew we had met them.

We were so impressed by the staff and volunteers at Cramlington Rockets so when they asked for our support it was an instant yes!"

Commenting on the new relationship, a thrilled Community Manager Steve Beaty said: "We have known Amanda for a while and have seen the journey Squelch have been on. It’s great to see how successful it is becoming and we are proud to have them as a community partner".
