Family fun day in memory of Chrisopher Wallace. #WearRedforWallace

We will be raising funds and having fun once again at the club’s annual charity day on Saturday 16th September.

Renamed from the Christopher Wallace Cup to reflect the range of activities, Christopher Wallace Day is an important date in the calendar for many at the Rockets.

Christopher was one of the original Rockets when the club formed in 2000 who sadly and suddenly passed away in 2012 of a heart defect, aged only 25 years old.

Many of his team mates are still at the club, and as has become tradition, a series of intra-club matches will be held across the morning.

Held on the back pitches at CLV, we ask all spectators to #WearRedForWallace and get involved in what is a great day for the whole Rockets Family.

There will be other fun and games ongoing throughout the morning including a bouncy castle, inflatable jungle, face painters, cake stand and raffle prizes. Club Sponsors, nando's will also be bringing their chicken van!

The suggested donation is £2 for players and £1 for spectators, with the aim of beating the £900 raised last year.

All the money raised goes to the British Heart Foundation to support their vision of a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from heart disease.

You can support our fundraising before, during or after the event by donating to our JustGiving page here.

You can also donate by texting CRCW70 £3 to 70070.
