This season sees the return of the Team of the Month awards. Every month for the rest of the season, the coaches across every age group pick the players that have stood out the most over the previous four weeks.

From this, a team of 13 is picked, with each monthly selection going towards the selection of the Team of the Year at the end-of-season Presentation Night.

Founder, Jordan Robinson was pleased to see the awards return: “We’ve got so many good players across all age groups that it is good to recognise those that excel all through the season, rather than just at the end of the year.

The coaches make the choices and it is never easy. It is not just about ability but also individual progression and attitude. That means that even if players aren’t the most talented, we can still show them and their team mates that they’re going in the right direction.”

Robinson added: “Team of the Month is a great honour for the players and all those that make it through the season will be contenders for the Team of the Year, one of the biggest awards to receive.
