Open to all ages, male and female, Cramlington Rockets will be running Friday night touch rugby from the 20th January at Cramlington Sporting Club within Cramlington Learning Village.

Taking place on the floodlit 3g pitches, registration is at 6:30pm in the Sporting Club café with games running from 7-8pm.

Costing only £2 a week, it is a great way for both players and family members to have a bit of fun and keep fit. Games are relaxed with teams mixing through the course of the evening.

Supported by Newcastle Thunder, the touch rugby programme is proving popular in the North East, with Gateshead Storm and Catterick Crusaders also recently setting up successful Friday night sessions.

With pre-season getting underway in the coming weeks, we would expect both junior and open age players to come along, as well as those who normally only get to stand on the sidelines.
