Currently on the books of Kingston Press Championship club, Keighley Cougars, Lewis Davey will be joining the highly experienced lead coach, Chris Ure to run sessions on Saturday mornings at Cramlington Learning Village.

Despite now playing in Yorkshire, Davey, like Ure, started his rugby league career with Cramlington Rockets as a junior, working his way up to the senior level before getting involved in coaching.

“Lewis will be a brilliant addition to Rocket Tots” said Community Manager, Steven Beaty.

“We know Lewis well, both in his time at the club as a player and work he has done with Rockets Community, such as on Rockets Camps.”

“The fact he has signed for Keighley Cougars this year is a proud achievement for all of us involved with bringing to the club and the fact he wanted to combine doing Rocket Tots in Northumberland with his playing commitments in Yorkshire just shows how much he loves working with the Tots."

Starting on Saturday June 11th, block 2 will run for 7 weeks until July 16th again at Cramlington Sporting Club.

Suitable for 2-6 year olds, it costs only £15 per person for the whole block.

The aim of the sessions is to encourage social skills, increase physical development and confidence and, most importantly, have loads of fun!

Sessions are led by experienced coaches from Rockets Community, the club’s award-winning community arm.
