Working with local video production specialists MC-Media, the Rockets’ U16s have been shadowed in recent weeks by a camera crew who have been recording their efforts to win the North East Cup Final.

“We are excited to launch the documentary” said Chairman, Jeff Ball. “It is a big step forward for us to use video to give and insight into the club.”

“More videos are being planned for later in the year but we felt the U16s was a good starting point as this is the last season of junior rugby for many of them.”

“Despite being the most successful side in the North East for a number of years, the loss in last year’s Cup Final to Jarrow has always been a thorn in the side.”

“After they sneaked past Wallsend in the semi-final, Jarrow was always going to be the side they were looking for and that is how it turned out.”

“The documentary gives a really good understanding of how much it meant to the team and what goes into preparing for a Cup Final. I am sure everyone will enjoy watching it.”
