Ground-breaking partnership with local video production specialists.

Innovative rugby league club, Cramlington Rockets has entered a ground-breaking new partnership with local video production specialists, MC-Media.

In a multi-year deal, MC-Media will be working with the club to make a series of videos about the different aspects of the club, from Rocket Tots to Rockets Camps.

The first project undertaken is ROAD TO THE FINAL, a documentary about the club’s U16s quest to lift the North East Cup.

“It is very exciting for the club to be trying something new like video production” said Chairman, Jeff Ball.

“The way technology is now, video is becoming a big part of both how people use their time on social media and also how organisations interact with potential members.”

“We came across MC-Media through some great work they have done for renowned local charity, St Oswald’s and Premiership Rugby side, Newcastle Falcons and quickly realised it was something we wanted to get involved in.”

The Northumberland-based club has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading clubs for its dedication to trying new things and being a flagship for rugby league.

When launched in 2014, its Community team made it the only amateur rugby league club in the country to have such a department, while an ever expanding rugby camp programme during the school holidays has seen record attendance numbers.

With its logo to be worn on a number of Rockets strips, Mark Orr of MC-Media added: “We are passionate about rugby and are thrilled to be part of such a great organisation that has community at its core and creates opportunity for all ages and abilities to be part of.

With the extra exposure that we will be creating for the club, more people will have the chance to be part of the special family at Cramlington Rockets”.

More videos will be available on the club’s YouTube channel later this year.
