An exciting triple-header of action at Kingston Park, the home of Newcastle Thunder, the Rockets 1st XIII will take on Strathmore Silverbacks at 13:45.

The match is the first round of the North East Cup, which has seen two Scottish sides join the competition this year.

The other side is Edinburgh Eagles, who take on Gateshead Storm at 12pm.

The headline match of the day is the clash between England Students and New Zealand students at 4pm.

With the chance to see two classic England vs Scotland and then the famous haka, it's set to be a great day.
