Newcastle Thunder have named a 25 man U16 squad to take on West Wales Raiders U16’s. The squad made up from players from across six North East clubs and features 8 Rockets, several of whom are playing their final game at U16s before stepping up to U19s next year.

The game will take place on Sunday at 12:30 and following the match will be the awards day.

Reflecting on a successful season coach Jordan Robinson had this to say: “The development across the board has been massive with this group and Sunday will be a chance to celebrate the achievements from an outstanding year. This will be the last U16’s game for a lot of the players before they progress so it would be great to end the season off in style.”
