As part of the guidance from the RFL to allow the return of rugby league activity, each player will be asked the following questions before training:

1. Have you been in contact with anyone with or suspected of having COVID-19 in the last 48 hours?
2. Has anyone in your household displayed symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks?
3. Do you have a high temperature?
4. Do you have a new persistent cough?
5. Do you have a new unexplained shortness of breath?

To take part in the session, players must answer NO to all 7 questions. If they answer yes to any of them, they will not be able to take part and asked to return home. Parents can help younger children answer.

The club will also be carrying out temperature checks using handheld infrared thermometers. If you have a high temperature (above 37.8C) you will be asked to step away for ten minutes and checked again. If your temperature remains high, you will be asked to return home.

Track & Trace

Player attendance will be recorded for every session. Track and trace is in place thanks to the Player Declaration forms all players have completed.

All attendees are reminded that they must report if they develop any coronavirus symptoms within 48 hours of the session. To do so contact the COVID-19 Officer, Jeff Ball on 07809114905 or jeff.ball@cramlingtonrockets.co.uk.

If this happens, the COVID-19 Officer will advise the individual to call 119 or go online to book a COVID-19 Test. This must be completed within 5 days of the presentation of symptoms. That individual must then self-isolate.

The COVID-19 officer will inform all attendees there has been someone with symptoms.

If a member of the club presents with symptoms within 48 hours of a training session/game, then training/practice/matches played by the club will be suspended and a period of isolation as set out by the government followed, currently 7 days for an individual and 14 days for members of the household.

All attendees of the session will be advised to isolate for 14 days (as per government guidelines) in case symptoms arise.
