Rockets Community is looking to appoint a North Northumberland Sports Coach to join its award-winning team.
With the deadline for applications Tuesday 10th October, this is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a big difference to the lives of young people in Northumberland.
Rockets Community is the award-winning community arm of rugby league club, Cramlington Rockets RLFC, a National Club of the Year nominee in 2016 and 2017.
The purpose of Rockets Community is to support grassroots sport across Northumberland, particularly the two rugby league clubs, Cramlington Rockets RLFC and Alnwick Bears RLFC, launching in 2018.
The North Northumberland Sports Coach will take responsibility for the delivery of our School Sports programme in designated partner primary schools located mainly in Alnwick and the surrounding areas.
The post holder will be expected to lead on the practical delivery of a school sports activity programme in these partner schools with particular attention being paid to: curriculum delivery; pre/post-school activity; and lead on our early years programme Bear Cubs on Saturday mornings.
