Gala Bingo Newcastle, based on Shields Road in Byker is collecting any spare Easter Eggs from its customers to pass to children receiving treatment at Newcastle’s RVI hospital at Rockets Community is helping their effort.

Head Community Coach, Danny Gilroy will be collecting all eggs donated by Rockets members between now and Wednesday 12th April.

To donate your eggs, bring them to training either on Wednesday evening on 5th or 12th April or on Saturday 8th April and give them to Danny or donate them at Gala Bingo directly.

“Being in hospital over the holidays is rubbish so we wanted to do a little something to make it easier for those on the wards” said Danny.

“A lot of kids get plenty of eggs but there will be some kids who d not get any so donating even one egg could really make someone’s day. I’m sure the Rockets Family will join me in being generous with their donations. They always are…egg-cellent like that!”
