With the North East Students having warmed up against the North East Origin squad last week, it is another chance to stake their claim for a place in the Universities Origin match.

Rocket Lewis Davey, who studies in Leeds, features for Yorkshire while Alex Bielby and Sam Luckley are other Rockets wearing the North East shirt.

The match will take place at Kingston Park on Saturday December 12, kick-off 18:30pm.

Players from both sides have the opportunity to be selected to play for the Northern team in the North v South Universities Origin match, which will be held at Loughborough University on Sunday February 7.
