Six more more Rockets are set to pull on the Newcastle Thunder jersey when the North East sides' U16 Scholarship side take on Hull FC this Wednesday (8pm kick off).

James Snowden and Zach Ikwue are set to start, with Thomas Luke, Charlie Spedding, Lochlann Thomson and Aaron Nokes set to feature from the bench.

For Snowden and Ikwue it marks the end of a 14 month wait to run out against the same side, having been named in the squad last March before the first lockdown saw the match postponed.

The match also marks an important day for the Nokes family, with Aaron following brother Isaac who recently made his first team debut for Thunder.

"It's great to see even more Rockets making the step up" said Chairman, Jeff Ball. "All these lads have had a disrupted year but have hit the ground running and worked hard to earn their place. We're very proud of all of them."
